The Moneyarchy Strikes Back

Protesters from the pots and pans revolution have  been indicted while the”bankers” continue their luxury lives in London and Lux.
Reporters are made to apologize for their factually correct reporting as the “tone” did not comply.
The multi nationals will kindly grace us by using more of our natural resources if we ask “pretty please”.
The “left” is behind closed doors negotiating with Empires and working in unison with the IMF.
The referendum result is already in. Damned if we do – damned if we don’t.

The grater the change the more things are the same. – Where is our ?”Pecora”?

How It’s Done

John Perkins has a simple script.

Multinational corporations covet natural resources, they find weak and/or self-serving governments, offer them massive loans which they will not be able to pay, and when they can’t, they collect by enslaving the respective populations.

Predatory Capitalism has these basic components: Corporations strive to minimize their taxes, they eliminate competition, cut wages and salaries, disregard the environment and sell dangerous or harmful products. And of course they hate any kind and form of regulations.

First the developing world and now we.

Public Opinion?

As the ‘pre-crash’ policies gather momentum, some of us are wondering why large sections of the public appear to have faith in those who orchestrated the meltdown.
How is it possible to use (and abuse) public opinion, influence it, predetermine-, select-, shape-, control and restrict it, to serve those disastrous ends?
Books have been written with titles such as “The Opinion Makers“, and “The Myth of the Rational Voter: Why Democracies Choose Bad Policies“, which seem to support Edward Bernays assumption, that, “The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country.”
Winston Churchill didn’t seem to have much faith either when he scorned, “There is no such thing as public opinion. There is only published opinion.“

Surviving the Cataclysm

Webster Griffin Tarpley predicted our current economic meltdown in his book Surviving the Cataclysm (1999). In this second edition he continues his analysis of the “globalized hot money casino run by a tiny financier oligarchy”.

Tarpley calls for “wiping out derivatives, banning foreclosures, and nationalizing the failed Federal Reserve System”.

while on the banks …

In times of turmoil and uncertainty it can be helpful to remember what historians and philosophers have said.

Will Durant wrote. “Civilization is a stream with banks. The stream is sometimes filled with blood from people killing, stealing, shouting, and doing the things historians usually record, while on the banks, unnoticed, people build homes, make love, raise children, sing songs, write poetry, and even whittle statues.”

And Krishnamurti said “It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.”
