The Philosophy of Futility

We are owned by the likes of DavidsonKempner Capital Management LLC.
Our politicians are but office workers for the IMF and the EU.
The national resources are privately ‘managed’ or auctioned of to foreign investors.
The banksters get “Vodka Bottle” sentences.
The same political giants who got us into this mess are posed for reelection.
The pollsters shape the numbers, just as the Big Four (audit firms).
The propaganda industry has restored us to Pre-Crash glory.

Dishing Out JUSTICE

…the Amalgamated Union of Philosophers, Sages, Luminaries and Other Thinking Persons… have come to the conclusion that it is only just that the ‘people’ pay for the kleptocrats war damages across Europe. The argument goes something like this: The government was democratically elected and post facto promised to secure local savings accounts (thus preventing their own privatized lynching).
Those of us that didn’t have money in the bank and never voted for this particular brand of corporatism find these logical fallacies well argued.
The unthinkable, – to let the corporate kleptomaniacs pay their own debt – is in a ‘democratic’ and ‘civil’ society just that, – unthinkable. iceslave.is

while on the banks …

In times of turmoil and uncertainty it can be helpful to remember what historians and philosophers have said.

Will Durant wrote. “Civilization is a stream with banks. The stream is sometimes filled with blood from people killing, stealing, shouting, and doing the things historians usually record, while on the banks, unnoticed, people build homes, make love, raise children, sing songs, write poetry, and even whittle statues.”

And Krishnamurti said “It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.”
