It has been embarrassing to see most of the local media echo the ‘western’ narrative of black and white hats (helmets) in explaining complex conflicts. The Iraq War is forgotten and bad, bad Putin (Xi Jinping, Kim Jong-un) are as bad as they get.
Numerous alternative sources are never mentioned, as not to clutter their acceptable opinions and constructed truths.
The right of the empire for regime-change is undisputed, and of course r=-1 between conflict resolutions and millions of displaced persons.
Something similar to Gore Vidal’s list no respectable news media would touch?
Is it still just a racket or a great big nothingburger?
